Notice Regarding Retiree Election

The Austin Police Retirement System's Election Committee met Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. and certified Kendall Thomas as lone candidate to submit his 'Notice of Intent' to run for the one Retired Police Member Trustee position. Therefore, John stated in accordance to Election Committee rules, Kendall wins the retiree position by default, since no other retiree returned in a notice of intent to be placed on the December 11, 2009 ballot.
