Notice Regarding Retiree Election

The Austin Police Retirement System's Election Committee met Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. and certified Pete Morin as lone candidate to submit his 'Notice of Intent' to run for the one Retired Police Member Trustee position. Therefore, Mike Jung stated in accordance to Election Committee rules, Pete wins the retiree position by default, since no other retiree returned in a notice of intent to be placed on the December 2011 ballot.
